Sealy, the biggest bed brand in the world will be unveiling a totally new stand at Salterforth this April, complete with new graphics, state of the art information pods, and a new mattress only range that will be on show for the first time. The new CSP mattress only range derives its name from the key features of Comfort, Support and Pressure relief that is built into every model. As with Mirrorform, a 'Zone support system' ensures perfect spinal alignment and reduces pressure points for a deeper, undisturbed sleep. This is combined with Sealy's unique 'Airlay' cushioning for enhanced breathability. There will be four models initially in the new collection. The range was inspired by new work undertaken in the USA by Sealy Inc, where two years of exhaustive research have revealed detailed new mattress constructions, based on zones, that are essential to distributing a body's mass, and hence minimising pressure points. "Our bodies are not uniform" says Neil Robinson, Marketing Director for Sealy UK, "so why should our beds be?"
It is a theme that has already gained momentum within the Sealy Mirrorform collections and indeed at the Salterforth show for the first time will be the remarkable new range of ultra-stylish Mirrorform Reflex Pocket beds, already being dubbed by insiders as "pocket sprung beds for the 21st Century". The styling of the new range follows the elegant look of the recently relaunched Mirrorform 'Perfect' collection, with five zones of micro-quilting and the distinctive 'waterfall effect' mattress design. However what makes this range so special is the use of a completely new pocket spring system. The "Progressive Spring" design has a unique barrel shaped construction that responds both to the sleeper's weight and movement, helping to relieve pressure points and support the body more evenly (and comfortably). This, combined with Mirrorform's trademark 'zone construction', means that support levels reflect the actual shape of the body and the areas where contact with the mattress is most intense.
Three models are being launched initially (the RPC 3000, 5000 and 7000). The top of the range model will also have the benefit of Sealy's ground breaking Outlast material, which is already proving so successful in the Mirrorform Perfect models.
The NASA-inspired Outlast technology was developed to protect astronauts from temperature fluctuations, the special microcapsules in these amazing new beds absorb excess heat that can be released back to the body later if needed. It even has the ability to adjust to the individual body temperature of two (or more!) users. What this means is that sleeping on a Sealy bed with Outlast, ensures a constant microclimate that regulates your temperature to ensure the perfect night's sleep year round.
